Still up and can't sleep

Tuesday

This is just one of those nights, when you just can't seem to fall asleep.  I hate these nights.  The kids haven't had school either due to all the snow, and we all kind of been cooped up inside so we have been getting out playing in the snow to keep from going insane.   But why I can't sleep is just beyond me.  I feel tired but my eyeballs are WIDE AWAKE, lol. 

So tell me my southern friends, what do you do if you can't sleep?
Please comment to me. PLEASE......
I haven't really tried warm milk, it just sounds too nasty really, and I haven't tried any sleeping medications, due to the fact I do nurse, and really don't want to get addicted to some kind of pill that can make you blissfully fall asleep in no time.   So here I sit, wide awake just typing away at this new blogging thing I have began to love doing.    I hope to get to know many of you Southern Belle women out there, and I hope we can share back and forth many southern belle chat.

This is what it looks like outside tonight, and my bones have been hurting, due to this coldness, that could be one reason I can't sleep.   I feel like my body is older than me sometimes, you ever feel like that.  lol. I do alot......
We got 5 to 6 inches of snow here in Missouri, the land of misery sometimes as my oldest son says.   But I don't think its done yet.

We are told that another front for more snow is moving in for the weekend, ahhhh, I was so sure nicer weather was going to come soon.

               She likes to sleep and likes for me to be right there beside her too.

She will be a year old on Feburary 9th, 2010.  Its going to be so much fun having her first birthday.   A princess for a day is what she will be in her own little southern style way.

This is my 9 year old Christian, and he is a Southern Boy and ham

when it comes to picture taking. He loves the outside and the snow.

Here he is today and he is posing with his little snowman he

made me. 

This is Austin my 8 year old, he was a Halloween baby.

Loves the fact that he gets treated double on his

birthday, lol.  Right now he thinks he is a ninja.

This is him today too, outside having snowball fights with his brothers and little sis.

This is Briley, my 7 year old.  He is the Southern terror.

But yet so lovable and sweet.  He is attempting to show off his snowball snowman.

And this pic was from today too.  This is Briley sitting it out with his baby sister lizzie.

They look like too snowballs in a winterwonderland.

And this is my Peyton, only 3 yrs old. He is my last little boy.

He is my baby. He goes around saying to me "mommy, you my baby" and reaches

up and just wrapps his little arms around me and hugs me.

And this is his little snowman that acutally looks like a big snowball.

He looks really tired huh in this photo.  I do believe after this pic he did go inside and take a nap.

And last but not least, My only little girl out of all those boys. lol.

11 months old.  She is one pretty girly girl. My little girl.

Well, time to say goodnite and early goodmorning. I think I am finally getting tired now.So now is the right time to end this southern tale of my half of dozen children with lizzie the southern priss waving bye to all our new friends.  I hope we didn't bore you in any way, and i hope we strike an interest for all our new to soon be fans.  Till next time, have a very southern goodnite's sleep and i pray that all is well in your lives and that God has been a good God to you. He is such a good God.
